The Institute for Social Policy and Understanding and the Stanford Muslim Mental Health & Islamic Psychology Lab are conducting a national study on substance use and addiction in American Muslim communities using focus groups and interviews. We are seeking research participants who identify as Muslim, reside in the United States, are 18 years of age and older, and either have struggled with a substance addiction themselves in the past or have a Muslim family member who has struggled with a substance addiction in the past.

Please fill out this form if you are interested in joining our study. The research team will review your responses and see if you are eligible to participate in either a 90-minute interview or a 120-minute focus group session. Your responses are confidential and will only be accessed by the research team, whether or not you participate in the study. The choice to participate in the study is entirely yours.
